My almost-busted bracket

Well, I clearly mislead the people with my NCAA picks.

If any of you followed any of my poor advice, I’m truly sorry.

I led the people astray.

Who could have predicted that five games would be decided by one point and four games would be decided on the last possession.

I thought Iowa State was a lot better than what it played like yesterday. How in the heck did the Cyclones lose to the University of Alabama-Birmingham?

Baylor stunned by Georgia State on a deep three-pointer.

Southern Methodist University losing a five-point lead in the last minute to UCLA. North Carolina State beats LSU on the last possession.

North Carolina almost lost to Harvard.

My upset picks of Stephen F. Austin and Eastern Washington were squashed.

But hey, Kentucky won.

Oh, who am I kidding?

My confidence is shaken and my bracket is off to its worst start, EVER.

I’ve won at least 10 games on the first day the last 12 years.

Yesterday, I won nine games and lost seven.

But there are always two sides to every story and I feel that today will be a better day.

While the South region of my bracket looks like nuclear wasteland, I’m still perfect in the Midwest region.

My East and West regions are teetering on the brink.

A good day means I can recover. A bad day means I might not even watch the games on Saturday and Sunday.

Oh, the madness.

What do YOU think?
